Mark’s story will be told not only through the voices of those who knew him best, but also through Mark’s own voice and image by drawing upon a huge collection of home movies and videos that spans his lifetime. Todd Sarner, Mark’s friend from youth and project content advisor, has hundreds of hours of video footage of Mark from the time he was a teenager until just a month before he died. Though no longer around to speak for himself, Mark will speak to viewers through this footage; they will get to know Mark intimately and witness the charisma that drew others to him throughout his life. With You also feature present-day sequences that show how Mark’s influence ultimately reached far beyond the cockpit of Flight 93, creating a unique legacy that continues to inspire today.

The production team plans to combine stories from Mark’s family and friends with interviews with U.S. Senators and Congressmen, academic experts on national security and history, celebrities and journalists. The interview subjects will include notable celebrities. Abundant archival footage of Mark as a young man will be integrated with news footage that connects Mark to the national events he participated in on September 11, 2001.
With You has a primary goal of theatrical distribution and national television broadcast. The film is projected to be completed in the spring of 2010.
